First impressions are important. So, one of the most common jobs that we do at DPI Pressure Washing is power cleaning driveways. I am sure you can appreciate the improved curb appeal of the driveways and sidewalks in my sample images below from actual jobs we did around the Tampa Bay area.

Introducing: Tampa Bay Home Improvement, sponsored by DPI Pressure Washing LLC Good morning! Something brand-new and exciting is happening before the holidays. It has to do with making your life as a homeowner easier. For real!
On Monday, September 7, we celebrate Labor Day again, which per an online calendar I saw, marks the end of summer. Well, certainly not for us in Florida, but I guess this federal holiday refers mainly to the fact that workers had a last day of official rest and most schools started again after this holiday. I promised you last week to continue with tips on how to get rid of mold, mildew, hot tire marks and other contaminants on your concrete driveway and here is my next episode, based on my professional experience and what I learned from the folks on the Concrete Network:
I think we can agree on this: oil stains are an eyesore on your driveway, garage floor or patio, no doubt. (Maybe not the one above with the pretty rainbow colors, but you get the idea.) Getting rid of them isn’t always easy, so let me explain what I learned from experience and found on the Concrete Network, which seems to live and breathe everything to do with concrete. I thought I'd share some feedback with you, that I got from my customers. Please note that these are genuine testimonials - not written by a paid copywriter or a friend! If you like what you read and feel you want to share a review with me, please do. I would be more than happy to feature your review on my website testimonials. What do you see when you look at your driveway? Is it caked with dirt, mildew and algae? Maybe you have oil, A/C and other chemical stains resulting from years of use and neglect. Even your spilled coffee didn’t fully wash off when it rained. Did you know that these stains eat their way into the concrete and are often hard or impossible to remove? And they are not just ugly: Whether you have a regular concrete surface, stamped concrete or pavers, some aggressive liquids can even cause etching of your concrete which calls for a different approach than stain removal. Summer is traditionally a slow season for us, so I thought, I put myself out there and offer some pretty incredible deals that will end by midnight of June 30, next week Tuesday! If you call us any time before this date and lock in your order by scheduling an appointment you will receive this deal. Remember when your backyard deck was first installed several years ago? It looked so bright and inviting. Now, though, it looks dingy from our hot Florida sun combined with heavy rains of the past few years. There are a few bugs stuck to it, and you can even see some faint stains where palms fronds sat for a while after that last tropical storm, not to mention the barbecue grease near the grill. It’s time to renew it by putting a new coat of stain or maybe a nice coat of paint on and sealing the surface.
I have been looking at the current economy and the efforts we all make to keep up and running in all aspects of our lives and thought: Pressure washing might not be your main concern at the moment - and I get that. In fact, my neighbor Maggy has her own philosophy when it comes to it: She lives part-time of the year in a small cabin in the back of her property and rents out the main house in the front. Now look at this: Your fence is one of the first things that visitors notice about your property. When it becomes dull and dingy or full of algae and other organisms, giving it a thorough cleaning is an essential step to a better looking property. Pressure washing is a quick way to clean an old fence and is ideal for both vinyl- and wooden fences. When it comes to staining a wood fence, pressure washing is the first step in preparing the wood.
What a downpour the other night, huh? It was certainly needed for our vegetation. But the thunder and lightning at second intervals sure felt like the world was coming to an end! Luckily it didn’t but your roof and gutters must have felt it.
Which got me thinking: There is this other topic that doesn’t make the Top 10 list of fun things to do: Gutter cleaning! In Florida and other subtropical regions, algae, dirt, pine needles or other organic matter build up on your pool screen all year round. Different from the northern states most of our tree leaves fall in spring and pollen is everywhere. Dead leaves, twigs, stuck pine needles and yellow smudge is covering pool cages, making your pool area a gunky, unattractive sight
I found a keen-witted, relevant story, dealing with isolation and wanted to share this with you. Imagine a learned, wise teacher responding to his disciple, who asks: Some of our customers asked us about the disinfectant solution that we use, to get outdoor spaces like patios, pool screens and walls germ-free and if those disinfectants pose a hazard to plants around their home.
Your regular cleaning chores have probably multiplied due to all the alarming news you hear about the Coronavirus. In case you did not read my last blog article, here are some sensible comments on minimizing any contamination.
As a professional painter, our customer, Mark in Largo, knows the importance of preparing a surface for a new coat of paint.
Throughout the ages, clay tile roofs have been a popular and durable way to protect building structures. The popularity of terracotta tiles as a roofing material has waxed and waned over the centuries, but one thing is for certain, these roofs are popular in Clearwater, Florida. Why is that so?
I have collected a variety of videos and keep doing so to support you with any power washing DYI projects you might have.
Power washing is one of the best ways to keep a variety of surfaces on your property clean and free of organic material and other contaminants.
If you find yourself frequently using a pressure washer to clean various elements around your Clearwater area home or business, the question has probably arisen if you should buy your unit. Pressure washing is a great way to clean surfaces such as driveways, garage floors, sidewalks, sidings, patios, roofs and other outdoor areas, even garden furniture! The force exerted by a power washer will make quick work of your cleaning job, so you'll spend much less time doing maintenance, thus freeing you to do other things.
