Once upon a time, there was a young, pretty woman...
She came with her parents from Germany to study in the United States. She loved horses, her big Leonberger dog, Grace, and her family very much. She was an excellent student and also quite popular. However, she was no party girl or Prom Queen and she had no boyfriend - though many tried!
Than there was a handsome and kind hearted divorcee...
from the Republic of Colombia, with a daughter aged 8 yrs. He was an engineer by profession. Due to political unrest at the time, he decided to leave his country and parents behind to rebuild his life from scratch as a permanent resident of the United States. And even though he missed his family very much, he also loved his new home of choice and quickly made many new friends through his passion for soccer - and this is, where the story really begins:

A girl, with high standards meets a boy with a big heart
The man, Mauricio, very determined to do well and become successful in this country started out as a painter. His education as an engineer had taught him practical skills and he wasn't shy to also do manual work. His passion for soccer led him to join a local soccer club, where he was offered a job as the Event Manager. They had quite big names coming through their door: The coach of former box-legend Muhammad Ali or the national soccer hero of Colombia, "El Pibe", to name a few. He was very popular with staff and public alike for his professional attitude but gentle and friendly approach. The girl, Charlotta, who studied graphic design, helped with online promotion and marketing at that same soccer club. They worked together and, over time, fell in love. :-)
A Clearwater Beach Wedding ...
It didn't take long for them to discover, that they were serious about their relationship and - after a short engagement time - decided on having a lovely, intimate beach-wedding. And so, Charlotta, the girl, became the wife of Mauricio Munoz and the step-mom of his daughter, Valentina.
And, contrary to all the common fairy tale knowledge, this step-mother was the best to be had! (This is what Valentina herself commented on, after the wedding, while munching on her favorite "Mexican Sushi Roll" at Kiku's on Clearwater Beach!).

Made in America, with German parts ...
The three of them were soon wishing for a sibling and so, in the beautiful month of May, Ella May was born. Today, Ella, speaks and understands 2 languages: German, 'cause Mama + Oma only speak German with her and English, 'cause her dad and older sister Valentina, as well as all of her friends mainly speak English with her. Ella is in still learning, she sometimes mixes & matches the languages into some very funny sentences. ;-) At home, she has to be reminded "Ella, sprich Deutsch!"( = Ella, speak German)

Four years later, in June 2013, the family was happy to welcome another little girl, Luna Marie.
Her older sister was very happy to have a little sister around and Luna pays it back by copying whatever Ella is doing. Not always what mommy likes to see ;-).
Luna also speaks and understands German and English. However, she has had more exposure to Spanish than her sisters through her Colombian babysitter and thus does understand it as well. Luna´s favorite food: Chocolate!
In the fall of 2015, the family was happy to welcome yet another little girl, Amelie Rose.
She is now the new nestling of the family and fitting in like a hand in a glove. Amelie is a kind and friendly person, and mommy is truly enjoying her. With now 4 lovely daughters, Mauricio is truly the cock of the walk ;-).
A bigger family also means more responsibility and Mauricio has always been rising up to the challenge, doing better and fine-tuning his activity. Business expanded and the company moved into bigger premises in winter 2016.
DPI Pressure Washing becomes Pressure Washing Clearwater
In 2009, while having a family of four, Mauricio needed to make sensible changes: He had the passion and the pride in his work and his wife pushed for precision and reliability in everything they did. So, while working hard, Mauricio had the opportunity, to start his own pressure washing and window cleaning business. Since he had always wanted a business of his own, he learned the trade and eventually bought another pressure washing company (DPI Pressure Washing), established since 1996 and thus greatly expanded his customer base in the Tampa Bay area. A new website (this one!) and email marketing based on a solid strategy for the business was the next logical thing.
