One week ago, my trusted staff Edwin and I had a special cleaning job on our calendar.
The Ford dealership in St. Petersburg, Fl, needed their workshop floors pressure washed and it was a dirty business on a time crunch: We had 2 days for 38,000 sqft of oily surfaces. We gave "The Skyview" condominium in downtown Clearwater, opposite of the 'Capitol Theatre' a nice facelift with our professional window cleaning service earlier this week.  On top of Amalie Arena, Tampa Softwashing is a gentle cleaning process that we usually apply on all roofs.
The tiles - or in this case a huge membrane roof - are sprayed with a special cleaning solution. After leaving it to act upon the surface, any dirt, algae or midlew will detach and can be removed by a thorough rinse (applying only soft pressure), leaving the roof sparkling clean. As you can see here, the the job at hand was massive and it took several days to get the whole roof clean.  About a year ago, a new coffee-shop opened their doors in downtown Clearwater. Well, it wasn’t any old spot they occupied, no, it was conspicuously located across the long-established Starbucks, at the corner of Fort Harrison and Cleveland St. Oh boy, we thought, will they gonna last?  I got a call from the Costco store here in Clearwater to do some work for them for the first time. To be recognized by a bigger company, you have to prove yourself over time and I suppose that´s what we did over the past 4 years. We caught their eye and here we were, with a special job at hand. Recently we put “pressure” on a Pinellas County water tank on Treasure Island.  This little white blob in the above Google Maps picture is one of Pinellas County water tanks that we gave a make-over at the end of April. Before we arrived, it was a big grey blob that would have been hard to spot on a satelite picture ;-)

Commercial Pressure Washing Another, very different job, was done during the night for one of our commercial customers: We pressure cleaned the whole gas-station from top to bottom, including the car wash, pumps, driveway, sidewalks and dumpster! Last week I featured a local hotel that we cleaned and this week I include a picture of the local concert hall, where we cleaned stubborn stains from the walls going all around the building. After I performed some tests to see if we would be able to get those stains off, we came with the whole crew and all our trucks to finish the job as promised. Pressure washing at heights takes a lift and a few people not suffering from acrophobia (the fear of heights). The photo was taken during the job. For working in such heights and to reach the upper floor, we needed to rent a lift. I am experienced with using such a large tool and operated the crane myself while my staff did the pressure washing from the top down. This job took several days and was performed to an excellent result. The hotel management was very happy with our work and so were we :-) Did we also clean the windows while we were at it?
