It was one of those houses from the 1920's and wonderfully quaint. That brick walkway wound up to the front door and just said:" Come on, walk up to this house. You're welcome!"
Caring for such an "antique" or even a newer version of your old brick-walkway is a rewarding task. The classic look of that brick can be restored with the tip of my pressure washer wand ;-) The one thing to watch out for is the "thirst" of the porous brick: It has to be saturated with clean water before any pressure washing can take place. That is to say, before any cleaning detergent should be applied. Why this is so important you can read here .. Our new staff is a friendly, hard-working and customer-oriented person who fits very well into the team. Currently he is being apprenticed and proofs to be the intelligent, fast learner we hoped for! His new truck and trailor has a waste water-reclaim-system, which allows us to work in more confined spaces, where the excess water cannot run off freely plus we can contain the polluted waste water from running into storm drains and thus protect our environment. In several of my last year's post I have expressed my desire to work as environmentally conscious as possible. This includes the use of green cleaning products as well as the limitation of waste water discharging into the grounds. After all, we are living on the largest underground freshwater supply of the United States. With this new machine, I am a big step closer to this goal. I am going to write an article about the benefits and how this machine exactly works, to give an easy overview to my readers. Check next week under "My Services" here on my website. |
