It´s happening, year after year, and we cannot do very much about it: Green and black mold growing on our screen-enclosures, dirt´s getting trapped in the screen and algae discolors and stains the frame. Florida´s humidity and rain let´s algae, mold and mildew grow on our pool cages like flowers in the desert after a strong rain. They just can`t help it. Lying dormant in the few cooler months (or rather weeks), they blossom as soon as the climate is getting more humid and wet. Let´s do something about it. We have done probably hundreds of pool enclosures by now and know exactly how much chemicals, how much pressure and how much time it will take to get it done. Cleaning a pool cage is much MORE AFFORDABLE than you might think! Call me at (813) 991-7243 for a FREE quote or to arrange a time for us to come by and get that whole screen looking like new! Today, I am going to address a (seasonal) nuisance that bugs many home-owners in Florida and often simply gets neglected for the lack of an easy do-it-yourself solution. How-to clean a Pool Screen enclosure While everyone agrees, that a pool needs to be clean and the water should be clear, the screen or pool cage/enclosure often is neglected. You might occasionally blow off those fallen leaves but this doesn’t remove the dirt from the screen itself or eliminates the algae growth and discoloration on the aluminum frame. What is the best and safest way to clean your pool screen? I have collected useful, to-the-point information from around the Internet. Read more... I can handle this unwelcome task and give you back a sparkling clean pool cage. Call me today, when you need my help! How to safely clean a pool cage off pine needles and other debris using a pool brush and a leaf blower
To sum it up: Regular cleaning is needed every couple of month because once your enclosure has accumulated a certain amount of pine needles, they trap other pine needles and debris which would normally be blown off by the wind. More and more needles get stuck in the screen and this can weigh down and damage your screen.
Now, as always, if you don’t feel like climbing ladders and standing at the roof-edge of your house, brushing off those pine needles or if you have a fear of heights then give me a call. We’ll do this work safely and with efficiency. You can call us at 1-888-224-1993 and let our friendly receptionist know that you read this blog and want to get your pool cage pine-needle free! She will help you to get an appointment with me or she can connect us straight away so we can discuss your needs. Looking forward to hear from you and love your comments! Kind regards, Mauricio Munoz Owner Spring Cleaning
When I think about spring cleaning, I always fondly remember my mother, bustling around in her apron, swinging her feathered mob and shaking a leg to her favorite music while turning the house upside down to get everything dusted and send any “winter-staleness” packing. I don’t know what your associations are when you think of a good, thorough clean but I can assure you that we can take care of the whole outside of your house, leaving it sparkly fresh with no dirt, mold, mildew or algae spoiling it’s good looks. We clean with high- or low pressure washing machines anything from:
We also highly recommend to have your windows cleaned from the outside (we have the experience, the tools, the ladders etc.) after the pressure washing is done, so everything is taken care off at one fell swoop! Don’t you agree, that you already have got your hands full with cleaning the inside of your home? Exactly! We offer to do the outside at a very affordable price. Give me a call toll free at 1-888-224-1993 and we’ll help you make your spring cleaning perfect! ;-) I know, I know: It's ONLY just October, but we have to talk about the upcoming Holidays. There are only 31 days to Halloween, followed by 22 days 'till Thanksgiving. Once the Christmas decoration goes up on your house, there will be no pressure washing any more until the end of the year. If you are not into decorating your house with lots of lights and ornaments you can relax: The pressure is off - we can do your outdoor pressure cleaning any time you like :-)...
